Our in-house direct works team, Parchment Property Services , is responsible for looking after:
- Emergencies - who to call when you have an emergency.
- Health & Safety advice on asbestos safety, fire safety, gas safety etc.
- Response Repairs to your home e.g. emergencies, urgent and routine repairs; to keep you safe and protect the fabric of the building
- Regular maintenance e.g. gas servicing and servicing of lifts to again keep you safe and ensure that these systems and appliances last longer before needing replacement
- Major repairs and improvements to your home e.g. replacing kitchens and bathrooms, new central heating systems, replaceing doors and windows to keep improving our homes in line with changing needs and preferences and to improve energy efficiency
- Aids and Adaptations to your home to make them more accessible e.g. grab rails, ramps, stairclimbers, hoists and level access shower rooms
- Communal grounds maintenance e.g. gardening, grass cutting, tree and shrub pruning on Hermitage Housing land
- Estate Caretaking including cleaning of common areas around blocks of flats and internal areas such as hallways, staircases and corridors
- Energy efficiency advice to help residents reduce costs, stay warm and protect the environment
- Tenants Home improvements advice for residents proposing to improve their own homes
